He is expert in doing CT and USG guided biopsies,  Bone biopsies, TRUS  guided prostate biopsies, Percutaneous drainages, Varicose vein ablation, PTBD& biliary stenting and PICC & Permcath placements.
Dr. Surana's proficiency extends  to minimally invasive procedures like Bronchial artery embolization for hemoptysis, Uterine artery embolization for AVM and fibroids, TACE for hepatocellular carcinoma, Percutaneous ablation for HCC, RCC and Osteoid osteoma, Visceral psuedoanrurysm embolization, Fistuloplasty for AVM, IVC filter insertion and retrieval and Thrombolysis & thrombectomy for arterial and venous thrombosis.
