About

Dr. Lal, an alumnus of Sardar Patel Medical College (SPMC) Bikaner. Immediately after completing his MBBS, he joined the prestigious Army Medical Corps (AMC) with the motivation to serve the Armed Forces. He did his post-graduation (DNB-Psychiatry) from Army Base Hospital, one of the busiest hospital of the Indian Army and affiliated with Army Medical College (ACMS) New Delhi.  As a psychiatrist, he served at Army Base Hospital Srinagar (J&K) and Military Hospital Jodhpur.  He has vast experience in single-handedly managing the entire psychiatry department at both Zonal Hospitals. He also did his observership in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at the prestigious National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS) Bangalore. He carries vast experience in managing thousands of different psychiatry cases with optimal outcomes & return to pre-morbid function.  Now he is working with JIET hospital Jodhpur as a Consultant Psychiatrist in their Department of Psychiatry.

Qualification

• MBBS from Sardar Patel Medical College, Bikaner (Raj) under the University of Rajasthan

• DNB (Psychiatry) from Army Hospital (BHDC), New Delhi under the National Board of Examination (NBE)

• Trained in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry from the National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro-Science under NIMHANS, Bangalore

Appointment

• Worked as Medical Officer (MO) (10 Years) in Army Medical Corps (AMC),

  • Served as a MO at various places across the country including difficult field areas (J&K) and effectively managed multiple medical and surgical emergencies

• Post-graduation (DNB) in psychiatry from Army Base Hospital, New Delhi,

  • One of the busiest hospital of Indian Army and affiliated with Army Medical College (ACMS), New Delhi

• Worked as Senior Resident (Psychiatry) (01 Year) in Army Medical Corps (AMC)

  • Served as a Senior Resident (Psychiatry) at Army Base Hospital Srinagar (J&K) which is an MCI recognized teaching hospitals of Indian Army

• Worked as Assistant Professor (Psychiatry) (03 Years) in Army Medical Corps (AMC)

  • Served as an Assistant Professor (Psychiatry) at Army Base Hospital Srinagar (J&K) and Military Hospital Jodhpur; both are MCI recognized teaching hospitals of Indian Army

• Observership in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Science (NIMHANS), Banglore
